The Association of Muslim Chaplains (AMC) supports and promotes the professional development of Muslims who provide spiritual care and counsel as chaplains and/or religious counselors in Muslim communities and in public and private institutions in the United States.

In accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), AMC aims to help Muslim chaplains in their work: advocating for the religious rights of Muslims; protecting the religious rights of all; providing spiritual guidance; facilitating worship, religious rites and rituals; providing for the religious needs of congregations; and shaping institutional policy in accordance with the laws and principles of the Constitution of the United States.
